What was Richard Pryor like?

“Richard Pryor was a brother from the hood, he didn’t give a damn about nothing. Really he has no respect for a lot of little things. Honestly, he had a good heart though. I know he’s been married three times, one of his wives named Shelly Pryor. She used to come up to the Comedy Store and do material high as hell on heroin. With these dark shades and get to mumbling and stuff, and the room would stay solid.”
